The Alliance Development & Delivery (ADD) System
WHAT IS THE ALLIANCE DEVELOPMENT & DELIVERY (ADD) SYSTEM?
To meet the diverse and extensive capability requirements of major projects, ICN has created the ADD system with the objective of bringing together a large number of capabilities to compete on major projects.
The aim of the ADD system is to:
- Meet the diverse and extensive capability requirements of major projects by combining skills, products, services and resources of local companies
- Respond quickly and efficiently as an alliance to comply to major project work package requirements
- Work together to build the capabilities of local companies in the Darling Downs region
- Provide access to specific training experiences, mentoring and guidance
- Provide access to ICN programs and assistance.
WHO SHOULD JOIN THE ALLIANCE?
At present, the ADD system is focussed on businesses in the Darling Downs region seeking to:
- Develop regional business systems, processes, world class practices and major project requirements
- Increase opportunities within major project supply chains by increasing capability, capacity and commitment
- Increase skills and experience in the region to attracted larger contracts
- Successfully form alliances, joint bids and partnerships with local companies
- Attract skills into the region by having renewed opportunities in local businesses
- Limit the regional infrastructure and resource burdens by keeping it all local
- Maintain livability within regional towns by helping sustain local business in the region

By becoming a member of the alliance, companies are supported by ICN and other partnering organisations by having access to:
- A gap analysis of capability requirements with recommendations for improvements and action planning
- Specific training experiences, mentoring and guidance to build skills in specific areas and upgrade ratings in safety, environment, quality and risk management
- ICN programs and assistance
- Joint experience and assistance in bid and tendering process
- The development of guidance notes covering legal and commercial aspects, multiparty bid preparation and management
- Suggestions and guidance from the ADD Mentor Group composed of highly experienced business executives
- Work package requirements and pre-qualification needs of major project developers.

To join the alliance you will need to undertake the three steps outlined below to complete the pre-qualification and registration process. Please see below for further details.
1. Register to become a member of ADD. To register click

2. Sign up to
ICN Gateway. The next step in being considered for project work is to ensure you have a company profile set up on
ICN Gateway. If you are already registered on Gateway please ensure your profile is updated.
3. Complete your
Tier Assessment. The Assessment provides an outline of the type of information required for bidding on project work. Click here to begin the Tier-Self Assessment. New users will have to create a company profile. (Step 2) to complete the Assessment.
