ICN Queensland is committed to protect the privacy of information and comply with the principles outlines in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
The objective of ICN Queensland are principally to assist in procurement and projects to increase Australian industry participation, and the application of best practice in procurement and supply. To achieve these objectives, ICN Queensland maintain an information database which may include personal information.

ICN Queensland will apply the following principles:

• ICN Queensland will only collect personal information for purposes directly related to its activities and objectives. The collection of this information should not reasonably intrude upon the privacy of individuals.

• Individuals who are the subject of personal information are entitled to be provided the details of those records containing personal information and to alert those records if the information is inaccurate.

• In general, ICN Queensland will use personal information only for the purpose of which is was collected, and disclose personal information only in accordance with the stated objectives.

• ICN Queensland will not use personal information for direct marketing or the compilation of mailing lists for other than communication in accordance with the stated objectives.

Our Internet Service Provider may record your visit for our website for statistical purposes. This information does not identify your personal identification. The information collected include:

• Last URL before ICN website

• navigation - entry point and exit point and pages viewed

• the browser you are using

• the duration of your visit on the ICN Queensland website

When you submit information trough our "Buyer registration", "Supplier registration" and "Subscription" your information will be sent directly to ICN Queensland by email.

We only record your email address if you send us a message or supply us with the address in one of our forms mentioned above. Your email address will only be used for the purpose of which you have provided it and will not be added to a mailing list nor used for any other purposes without your consent.

Information collected from you may be used to match your requirement with other suppliers and buyers
