ICN HELPS ERGON ENERGY POWER QUEENSLAND

Ergon Energy required a reliable supplier of medium voltage metal-enclosed switchboards to control the company's power supply at substations throughout regional Queensland. Ergon Energy envisaged an increased requirement for switchboards because of the high rate of population and economic growth in the state. The company currently has more than 20 regional substation construction or upgrade projects in progress to cope with demand.

GATEWAY UPGRADE PROJECT - LUDOWICI

Contracting consortium Leighton Abigroup Joint Venture (LAJV) won a contract from Queensland Motorways Ltd in September 2006 to build a major Brisbane road infrastructure project, the Gateway Upgrade Project.

GATEWAY UPGRADE PROJECT - STEEL

In September 2006, a major Brisbane road infrastructure project was awarded to construction joint venture partnership Leighton Abigroup Joint Venture (LAJV) by Queensland Motorways Ltd. The $1.88 billion project involves building a second Gateway Bridge over the Brisbane River and 20km of new or upgraded motorway, including a new Gateway Motorway deviation north of the Gateway Bridges that will improve access to Brisbane Airport.
